Troubleshooting
No satellite signal on
screen
Extreme weather could be
causing problems. If it is raining hard, snowing
heavily or if snow is settling on the dish, or if you
are experiencing strong or gale force winds this could
cause a reduction in signal quality. Once the extreme
weather has subsided your viewing should return to
normal. If there is no change, follow the instructions
below to perform a Connection
Check:
• Unplug receiver & plug straight
back in, wait 2 minutes with red light on
digibox..
• Press
“sky” button on remote
control.
• If it says anything
about telephone connection press “back
up” button.
• Press
“services”, then 0,4,0,1 on
numeric pad.
• Press “
select”, then “2” on numeric
pad.
• You should see the
screen “default transponder”.
• Change frequency from
11778 to “12110”.
• Go to
polarisation using down arrow (under “select”
button).
• Change
“v” to “h” using
right hand arrow.
• Next lines 27.5 and
2/3.
• Press down arrow 3
times until you are on “save new settings”.
• Press
“select”.
• Press “back up
button" 3 times.You should now have
searching for listings and the date and time on the
screen, wait until the screen changes and press 501
for sky news.
